Graduating a semester early, Matthew Galvin did everything he could at Alvernia to prepare himself for his next journey … law school. Thankful for his professors at Alvernia, Matthew is living out his dream as a third-year law student at Marquette University Law School, where he also interns for the Village of Menomonee Falls as a Legal Intern.
Matthew sought advice often from his professors and from Career Services, which not only challenged him, but also helped him land two very successful internships. “Alvernia gave me a chance to take on some classes and do some advanced directed studies to prepare me for law school. This stood out to me because most university professors would not take a full summer to do an advanced directed studies class with just one student,” he says.
The continuous and meaningful relationships Matthew has with his Alvernia professors and internship advisors has many cheering for him to pass the bar exam.
