    For more than 50 years, Alvernia has been providing a dynamic environment for students and community members to experience arts and cultural events. Whether through student performances, visiting lecturers, featured faculty presentations or guest artists, the arts have been alive at Alvernia!

    In celebration of Black History Month, an ACOR Art Exhibit will be on display in Francis Hall Atrium for the month of February. A reception will be held February 13, from 4:30-6 p.m.

    Juno-Award winning banjo player Jayme Stone brings to stage a performance inspired by folklorist Alan Lomax. Repertoire includes Bahamian sea chanties, African-Amerian a cappella singing from the Georgia Sea Islands, weavers' work songs and ancient Appalachian ballads. For Tickets>>
