All students must let us know whether or not they will be attending Baccalaureate and Commencement. Please log onto myAlvernia → Select “University Life” at the top of the page → Click on the first drop “Baccalaureate/Commencement” (or you just click here and login to myAlvernia) → Click on the box labeled “Click Here to R.S.V.P. for Commencement & Baccalaureate” at the bottom of the page
No additional fee for tickets or attire. All graduating students will be assessed a Graduation fee directly to their student account during their final semester. Account payments can be made online, myAlvernia, or in person - Office of Student Accounts (FH 200/201).
This is where you will pick up your cap & gown, tickets, as well as take care of any Alvernia business (i.e. billing/financial aid, etc.)
Dates of Grad Finale:
Reading Campus – Wednesday, November 18th – 2nd floor Student Center 12:00 pm-2:00 pm & 4:00 pm-7:00 pm
Philadelphia Campus – Monday, November 30th - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Schuylkill Campus – Tuesday, December 1st - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Cap & Gown:
All cap and gown orders will be filled at the Grad Finale Event- all sizes will be available – NO need to PRE-ORDER!
Each student will receive four (4) tickets. Additional tickets will be distributed after all Grad Finales are completed.
As a final step in the Graduation process, each student is asked to complete the graduation survey. Please watch your email for information regarding the link to participate. This should be completed prior to Grad finale..
Class Rings & Announcements:
Class rings and announcements will be available on-line through the bookstore at www.alverniashop.com, or for purchase at the Grad Finale on Wednesday, November 18th
You are notified by mail when your diploma is available for pick up in the Registrar’s Office. This typically takes about 6-8 weeks after completion of your courses.
Honors status is based on your cumulative grade point average as the end of Mod 1 for undergraduate students only. Please keep in mind that your honor status on your diploma and final transcripts is based on your final cumulative grade point average (after all fall grades are computed).
