Troubleshooting Guide for Off-Campus Database Access
1. Set Internet Explorer or Netscape Privacy settings no higher than medium
(Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy for Internet Explorer).
2. AOL’s browser will not work; if access is via AOL, minimize the AOL window and open a new browser window from Internet Explorer or Netscape.
3. If the user is at work and cannot access Alvernia’s databases, often security settings are set high at the server-level and cannot be changed.
