Exploring Science with Carpenter Technology

Scientists from Carpenter Technology teamed up with faculty and staff from Alvernia University this summer to explore projects using chemistry, physics and engineering — during a week-long Project Exploration science camp.

In addition to launching rockets, building (and breaking) bridges, and fire-proofing money, participants studied the ecosystem of Angelica Creek Park and toured the Franklin Institute. Campers were also treated to a behind-the-scene tour of Carpenter's Research and Development building.
