Requirements
The minimum requirements necessary for admission to Alvernia University’s Master of Science in Nursing program will include an official transcript indicating that the applicant has earned a baccalaureate degree in nursing from a NLNAC or CCNE accredited program at a college or university. A grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all previous undergraduate and graduate work is normally required for full acceptance. Also, the completion of a undergraduate statistics course and undergraduate research course with a grade of “C” or better is required. A minimum of one year recent relevant practice in nursing is required.
