APA Workshops

Whether you are new to APA style, need a refresher, or have specific questions, you are welcome to meet with a writing tutor in a group setting to address your concerns. You will learn the basics of APA style, including how to use in-text citations, how to format your paper, and how to develop a reference list. No registration is required for these workshops, but please bring your assignment-in-progress, assignment instructions, and any questions you may have. Computers will be available for students to use during the workshop (unless otherwise indicated on the schedule). AMA Workshops

This workshop is designed to support students in the physical therapy program using the writing and citation style of the American Medical Association (AMA). Whether you are new to AMA or need some assistance with AMA style in a particular assignment, we welcome you to attend this introductory workshop. Please bring any in-progress drafts with you so you may ask questions as they pertain to your assignment. Computers will be available for students to use during the workshop. SPSS Workshops

Adult and graduate students are encouraged to attend Alvernia University’s IBM SPSS Workshops. Whether you are new to statistics and SPSS, need a refresher, or have specific questions, you are welcome to meet with a statistics tutor in a group setting to address your concerns. No registration is required for these workshops, but please bring your syllabus, assignment instructions, and any questions you may have. Computers with the SPSS software package loaded will be utilized by students during the workshop. For students joining the SPSS workshop online via ZOOM, an email will be sent to all students prior to each workshop with the link to the ZOOM meeting.

CPCE Workshops

Students will engage in a comprehensive review of material from the different sections of the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE). Some workshops will include practice exam materials. This workshop series is intended for Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling (MACC) students currently enrolled in their internship course.
