Helping Students Succeed
When students go away to college, parents lose the ability to directly observe what their children are doing in regard to their school work. They cannot see their students’ books or daily homework assignments. They rarely get to meet their student’s professors. They most likely will not be able to follow their student’s assignments or grades online. Typically, parents are not contacted if a student is not doing well in a class.
So, we think a lot of what parents can do is know what questions to ask their students so they can get accurate, useful information. Our hope is that the information we provide in the links below will give you some insight into what to ask to effectively monitor your student’s academic behaviors from a distance.
