Holocaust Remembrance: Educational Considerations in Teaching about the Holocaust Seminar
Join us for this free seminar at Alvernia for faculty and staff of colleges and universities on Friday, April 5th. Explore dealing with the challenges of creating meaningful courses in Holocaust education, as Alvernia partners with the Jewish Foundation of Reading to host Dr. Rachel Korazim. With such a vast topic, the need to mold it to fit academic structures calls for clear definitions of questions that are often elusive. Dr. Korazim, a graduate of Haifa University with a Ph.D. in Jewish education and a specialist in curriculum development for Israel and Holocaust education, will cover these difficult questions and discuss teaching the Holocaust at the university level.
