The Office of Mission & Ministry at Alvernia University provides opportunities for students, employees and alumni to respond to God's call by engaging in a community of faith, pursuing a life of service, and advancing peace and social justice initiatives in our community and in the world. While rooted in the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi and the Roman Catholic Church, the Office of Mission and Ministry recognizes the Christian call for inclusiveness and welcomes persons of all faith backgrounds, encouraging a spirit of ecumenism and inter-faith dialogue.

Mass of Remembrance
The Mission and Ministry Team invites you to join us for a monthly Mass of Remembrance on the last Sunday of each month, honoring those who have gone before us. Please send the names of loved ones who passed away to Sr. Marietta at mailto: marietta.andrzejewska@alvernia.edu so they may be remembered during Mass.
Let us come together in prayer, love and thanksgiving, entrusting our departed loved ones to God's loving care.

Cooks With Collars
Support Alvernia's new chaplain, Father Eric Tolentino, as he raises funds for the Diocese of Allentown competition Cooks With Collars.
Fromm Interfaith Award
Alvernia University, with Michael and Susan Fromm, in the Fall of 2012 established the Fromm Interfaith Award. The winner of this award will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Students entering their junior or senior year are eligible to apply. Students must demonstrate an interest in the area of interfaith dialogue and submit a plan for a project or program that they will implement during the upcoming academic year.
